Confronting youth problems?

Posted by admin On October - 17 - 2009

Confronting youth problems? We often see the youth indulging in inappropriate behavior, the most common among them being anti-social behaviour, expulsion and arrogance. If we try to have a deeper look in the issue, we will learn that these things arise when we as adults are unable to understand our youth.

A fact of life is that anyone who is happy or at peace with oneself will never think of hurting anyone in anyway. It is only when the youth fail to know their true worth and their purpose in life that they indulge reckless behaviour. But what do we really do when we see our youth doing these things? Well, I have seen most people often shooing these people away, they start pointing their flaws at them, start backfiring them with remarks or at worst start excluding them from our life. When asked, most of us would have a fair explanation towards this that who would want bad elements around dispelling discomfort to them in particular and society in general.

But how many amongst us have actually tried to fathom the true cause behind all this. Why does youth indulge in this? Are we as a community helping them develop a better approach in life? Has our hatred towards them helped them in anyway? These are a few questions which still remain unanswered.

So how do we solve this imbroglio? Before going ahead, the foremost thing needed to develop as is patience and compassion towards our youngsters. We need to understand that they are as much a part of us as much is our mind in our own body. Doesn’t our mind go haywire at times? Don’t we fail to fathom what’s right for us and what’s not? My friends, the same happens with the youth too. Just that we need to be a bit more patient in handling what’s governing them to control it and make them understand what’s right for them.

In my next post, I’ll be extensively talking about the measures we can possibly employ to help our youth develop a positive spirit in life! So keep reading for more and be good!

Understanding the youth!

Understanding the youth!Present day society often blames the youth for bringing about many problems in their environment. The most common things that one gets to notice about youth today are anti-social behaviour, expulsion and arrogance. Well, if we try and look deeper into the issue, we’ll realize that these things arise when we as adults fail to understand our youth. Let’s know how!

One thing that clearly makes sense is that anyone who is happy and content with one’s life will never hurt anyone. It is only when people don’t know who they are and what their purpose in life is or are not guided properly that they indulge in reckless behaviour. But what do we do when we see them doing these things? Well, needless to say, we often start driving these people away, start pointing their flaws at them, start backfiring them with our remarks or at worst start excluding them from our life. Most of us would have a fair explanation towards this for our behaviour saying that who would want such elements around who dispel discomfort to them in particular and society in general.

But how many amongst us have actually tried to find out the true cause behind all this. Why does youth indulge in this? Are we as a society helping them develop a better approach in life? Has our hatred towards them helped them in anyway? These are a few questions which still remain unanswered.

So how do we go about solving this? As guardians, is patience and compassion towards our children. We need to understand that they are as much a part of us as much is our mind in our own body. Just as our mind goes haywire at times and we fail to fathom what’s right for us, the same happens with the youth too. Life is not a bed of roses

Posted by admin On August - 12 - 2009

Life is not a bed of rosesNot all of us are born with a silver spoon in our mouth. This is because not every one is blessed with “gifts of the world”. With this personalized blog, I try my level best to help those who live their life with a hope of doubt and low confidence.

There is no point in being the apple of your family’s eyes when deep down inside you do things unhappily. Always remember the fact that you, as an individual and as a family member, cannot make all the others around you happy and there is no point in making others happy by destroying your own inner peace. “God helps those who help themselves”. Do things what you want to do, do not worry about the outcome even before you start the journey. If you are happy, others around you will be happy and if they don’t, why should you waste your precious time in making them happy.

Remember the rule of happiness and love, a person who loves you wants to see you happy at any cost. Try to think seriously about yourself, give yourself the due attention you always deserved. This however does not mean that you need to disrespect others or ride on them. Find things that can help you to positively change your personality. If you can take your own decisions then you cannot blame others if you fail and similarly others cannot take credit if you win. Having this type of approach to life will surely bring happiness to you.

Find happiness in small things, there are a lot of these things around you. I can be happy when I see a child smiling, I feel happy when I can help others to build their careers. The ways may be different but the goal is the same, inner happiness. The situations in our lives may be different but no one is born happy or sad, lucky or unlucky. There is no point in praising or cursing the destiny for things of our lives. Start having belief in your abilities, perform at your best and the world will be a different platform for you to display your real metal.

I really wish that my words can help you to lead a better life and be a better individual. If I am unable to do this for me, my purpose of writing this blog is simply defeated but I really hope that you will not disappoint me by just reading this blog by having a glance on it or thinking it as a waste bunch of words.
