Are you a good decision maker
Decisions are no less than seeds which grow into trees which either gives us fruits or no fruits at all. This is to say that bad decisions eventually fill us with anxiety and remorse of taking them so hastily. Thus it is important to know whether a decision is wrong or right, and to be assured that the choice we are making won’t lead us in a ditch. Though there are no particular rules of knowing this but following certain steps, can help us take charge of the situation more aptly.

The first step towards taking a decision is to fathom whether a decision will fetch us long time benefit or not. Look at the root cause that is making you to take a decision. Imagine the possible outcome that you might confront after taking it. Make a list of the possibilities that might arise from making your choice. Sort them on priority basis. See which one seems to bring peace and happiness in future. No matter how difficult its implementation seems for you, if you see it truly benefiting you and those around you, go for it.

Implementing decisions is most difficult part. The toughest thing is to initiate what you have decided, to begin what you have thought. Hence it is important that your determination is firm and you do not get distracted by the impediments that come your way. If taking action seems difficult to you, make an action plan to ease out the process. Then go step by step in carrying it out. Stay clam as big things take time to build. One has to be patient but through consistent efforts you’ll be able to achieve even the imaginable.

Once a decision is made, it is important that it is evaluated from time to time. This step is important to measure whether things are turning out as you expected them or not. Was it a correct choice for you to make? If not, then it is never too late to make an alternative choice. The important thing to be kept in mind here is to keep some alternatives in hand. This will help you be confident in case a change of course is needed.

These are some simple but effective steps that will help any person to go through the decision process in an effective manner.
